The aim of CIPM training is to assist individuals interested in developing comprehensive skills related to managing the privacy of personal information and implementing data protection programs. Through this course, will discover multiple topics regarding privacy policies as they apply to business operations such as; Governance of Individual’s Personal Data/Information; Management of the Lifecycle of Data/Information; Risk; and Compliance. All of these topics are aligned with internationally accepted standards to help students understand how to implement and manage a program to protect the privacy of employees and customers (or personal data) while doing business in any geographic area. Although this is developed for privacy officers, compliance professionals and IT professionals, those taking the course will be prepared to attain their CIPM certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
