The purpose of Threat Hunting Training is to assist security professionals in proactively detecting, analyzing, and mitigating advanced threat attacks before they result in significant damage to organizations. This course will include lectures and hands-on labs using real-world examples of cyber threats based on the latest intelligence and analysis of network behavior and tactics used by today’s cybercriminals. Students will learn how to look for ‘hidden’ malware, identify 'insider' threats, and find 'persistent' malicious actors both on their networks and endpoints. They will develop a ‘hunter’ mentality that will empower them to move away from reactive use of security tools and put into practice the skills necessary to analyze logs for detection of anomalies and respond to incidents that have occurred. This course is ideal for SOC Analysts, Security Engineers or IT personnel who are looking to improve the overall cyber resilience of their organization.
