The training course entitled AI Governance Specialist Training is intended for those people working with or involved in monitoring, controlling or directing how artificial intelligence is utilized in an organization; its purpose is to help build both the practical and strategic expertise needed to carry out these roles. This course teaches how to create an adequate governance structure for the artificial intelligence systems so that they are in alignment with applicable legislation, current ethical standards, and the organization’s core values and mission. Participants will come away from this course with a detailed understanding of various risks associated with AI including; bias, lack of transparency, misuse of data, and noncompliance with federally mandated regulatory requirements; and good practices applicable to reducing each of these risks.
