The solar panel subsidy in India aims to encourage residential solar energy usage by offering financial assistance. The Central Financial Assistance (CFA) is provided by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for rooftop solar systems (RTS), facilitated through DISCOMs and state agencies. The CFA is directly transferred to consumers’ bank accounts.
